Vanessa Ferle is a woman who confuses herself with her cat #ulrikeferle and her computer. She studied biology, neuroscience, and digital arts. She is self-taught in graphic design, direction, animation, music and other arts. In her two-three-multi-part existence, she works as a creative director aka a-graphic-designer-for-too-many-years. At the same time she puts her obsession with animals in use through artistic research, experimentation and creation. The focus of her artistic practice is trauma and its approach through anthropomorphism and zoomorphism. She is interested in animality in arts and the mechanism through which emotions are evoked.  She has participated in various film, animation and digital arts festivals.
